• 2009 Quilt Show Information

  • New vendors as well as the returning vendors carrying the newest fabric and quilting supplies.

  • A sale boutique selling quilting items and fabrics.  Quilts will also be sold in the boutique.  Please contact a Quilt Board Member to enter your items for sale in the boutique.  A 15% commission will be charged for all sales.  Bettie Huntley is the person to contact at 870-773-6533.

  • A new quilt block challenge by the Twice As Nice Quilting Bees (birdhouses,) to be judged by the public.
  • Demos and special "make it take it" activities scheduled throughout both days.
  • A Quilt Show Program filled with entrant names, quilt descriptions, judge and teach profiles, and advertisements from local businesses.
  • NOTE! There is a new quilt category this year.  A Masters category.
  • Deadline for entry forms is February 6th, 2009. Entry forms available online.
  • Early check in of entry quilts at Hancock Fabrics, February 27th 4:30-6:30pm and February 28th 10:00-12:00pm. 
  • Check-in at the fairgrounds will be Wednesday March 4th 7:00-9:30am, in the fine arts building.  Pick-up will be Saturday March 7th 6:30pm at the home arts building.  There will be no quilts checked out until 6:30pm.
